From 1970 until his death in 2014, Fritz and Rosie Borgstedt had been together.
When they met in 1970, both worked in the Computer Business - first with the big IBMs until Apple's Macintosh was introduced in 1984. Consequently, they founded Systematics - the only Macintosh corporation in Germany - and had been assigned as one of Germany's very first Apple partners.
They shared their love for science fiction and dreamed of flying someday to the stars.
Now this will happen. Fritz's ashes and Rosie's DNA will be mingled together in a Gemini capsule, and together, they will fly aboard the Enterprise Flight, the voyage into deep space.
Their philosophy of life was and still is:
"Hold on tight to your dreams!"
