John L. Strachan

"Oh how lucky the heavens, universe and stars are"
1946 - 2023

John was born in Washington and lived there most of his life with some time in Arizona and sometime in his favorite place besides the sky, Hervey Bay Australia (he liked to think of himself as an Australian-American).

John was a pilot and a pilot instructor, he loved flying. He always said he’d love to go to Mars, not the moon but mars (he wouldn’t have turned either down if given the chance).

John was a deputy sheriff's officer and was shot and injured in the line of duty and eventually passed away as a result of that injury.

He was such a happy, funny and fun person, John never let anything bother him; he just kept going making all of us laugh and lightened any situation.

Oh my gosh are you missed!

Have the best most wonderful journeys my beautiful husband.
