Mac was born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on June 7, 1983 to Mary Dingman and Philip Sheridan. He grew up in Altamonte Springs, FL alongside his younger sister Stacy. Mac attended St. Mary Magdalen Catholic School in Altamonte Springs through 8th grade. He went on to Bishop Moore High School in Orlando and graduated in 2001. After taking a summer job in Alaska while attending UCF in Orlando, he was hooked on Alaska and relocated there permanently working for Holland America & Princess Cruises.
Mac had a passion for travel, adventure, and knowledge. He loved taking in as many cultures and experiences the world had to offer. Whether it be trying the local cuisine, hiking the local terrain, or being submerged in wildlife, he was always indulging in a new experience. He was known for his fun-loving nature, compassion, random trivia knowledge, and sense of humor. He loved sharing stories and easily made friends wherever he went.
While none of us can join Mac on his next adventure to the moon, we can all view his final destination and remember the joy and love he spread throughout his life.
Mac leaves behind his mother, Mary, his sister, Stacy, his beloved, Dawn, his little buddy, Tyrion, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
