Born in Sayre Pennsylvania July 11, 1941, the eldest child of Frank and Susan Pabis. Raised in Elmira, New York, she leaves behind two beloved brothers, Frank and Gerald.
In 1957 she was introduced to Frank J. Bower, Sr: It was love at first sight. Two years later on September 17,1959, they eloped together and were wed in Buffalo, New York. They renewed their vows at church, in front of family and friends on April 13, 1960. Soon after, the happy couple moved to Niagara Falls and then Rochester, New York to begin a family. Together they have three children, Frank Jr., David and Nicholette. In 1980, they took a big gamble, packed up the family and headed west to Las Vegas, Nevada to start a new life together. There she practiced Real Estate for over 20 years. After 50 years of marriage she was still Frank's sweetheart; their love is forever and eternal.
Her kindness was only exceeded by her beautiful looks and brilliant mind. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother to ten grandchildren, Jessica, Ashley, Angela, Frankie, David, Darcy, Dana, Danelle, Vincent, Kristen, one great grandson, Caden with another on the way, daughters-in law Holly, Denice and a son-in-law Andy. She also leaves behind many wonderful friends. In particular, Mike and Joan Pavone they were close as brother and sister to her and Frank. With their friendship spanning more that three decades they will always have a special place within her family.
She enjoyed spending time with her ever-growing family, puzzles, watching Antiques Road Show and playing penny slot machines. She was very loving, creative and a wonderful cook. Blessed with the ability to make each child, grandchild and friend feel special and loved unconditionally. Words cannot describe what a special person she was and we will all truly miss her.
With a great curiosity about outer space and the unknown, this launch enables us to fulfill a dream for her that she was unable to accomplish in her short 69 years on Earth. We will look into the sky and smile, knowing that she is among the stars, at peace in Heaven where she belongs as she was always an angel here on Earth.
"May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
the rains fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you
in the palm of his hand."
"I love you as high as that star"
~Frank Bower
