Why launch only a symbolic portion of cremated remains?

We offer the launch of a symbolic portion of the cremated remains as a memorial service, not final disposition of all the remains, because:

1) many of our customers prefer having multiple options for scattering or preserving the participant’s remains;

2) although dramatic progress is being made by entrepreneurs in reducing launch costs, spaceflight is still quite expensive. By launching a portion we can offer an affordable service; and,

3) it ensures that an additional sample will be available to fulfill our performance guarantee commitment.

We will scatter the unflown balance of the cremated remains you provide to us near the launch site.
